3230-65 FastracENGINE Powerful Cummins 24 valve QSB series electronic engines provide maximum efficiency Field Speed Control allows the operator to set engine rpm to a desired level. The system is activated and deactivated at the flick of a switch, a useful feature when carrying out headland turns during draft or PTO work. Newly styled hood folds up to the cab for clear access to daily check and service points. Air charged cooling pack folds up and out for more effective cleaning and maintenance. An engine diagnostics system enables the operator or dealer to instantly identify any problem, minimizing downtime. TRANSMISSION JCB Smoothshift oil immersed clutch reduces operational effort and is guaranteed against wear for 6,000 hours. The three speed powershift transmission allows rapid up or down shifts to be made without the need for the clutch. Autoshift automatically changes the powershift gear ratio in response to engine load. Autoshift modes mean minimal operator effort when towing a trailer, plowing, using the PTO; with a fifth mode able to be tailored to any individual requirements. JCB Selectronic allows pre-selection of the required gear range leaving the operator’s hands free for more critical maneuvers. The standard plus pack includes a console mounted gear lever for quicker, easier gear changes. SUSPENSION AND CHASSIS The four link front suspension features a large single center control arm. Redesigned upper arms have greater clearance around the tires on full lock for an improved turning radius. Anti-sway bars control roll stiffness and improve handling for greater safety. Self-leveling rear suspension compensates for the additional weight of implements while also improving traction. Self-leveling from side to side assists sprayer boom stability, particularly when working on hillsides. Full air over hydraulic ABS braking on all four wheels for safer stopping. CAB Large, spacious cab has two full size seats for driver and passenger and large glass area for excellent all-round visibility. Standard Plus Pack provides the operator with a console mounted gear lever, electronic spool valves, deluxe cab interior and the option of electronic front linkage for maximum comfort and control. All controls are in close proximity to the operator for convenience and ease of use. State of the art sound insulation techniques and new cab isolation mounts keep noise to 'class-leading' low levels. The JCB Electronic Monitoring System (EMS) provides a performance an assessment of numerous functions on the dashboard to keep the operator up-to-date with productivity.
