RT75The 2004-compliant Ditch Witch model RT75 tractor, is a 4-wheel drive, rigid frame unit, available with hydrostatic or powershift ground drive; it is designed for installation of power and communications cable, natural gas, water and sewer distribution lines, commercial sprinkler systems and agricultural irrigation projects. KEY FEATURES: -Power: *John Deere 4045DF270 diesel engine producing 74hp (55 kW) at 2500 rpm under full load. *Powershift transmission gives you "on-the-go" shifting and no clutching. *Hydrostatic transmission offers infinitely variable speed from zero to maximum forward. -Productivity and Performance: *Integrated front cast weight eliminates the need for a weight rack. *Planetary drives deliver more torque at the wheel and higher ground clearance. *72-in (1.8 m) backfill blade with 6-way adjustment and "float" feature allows you to work more productively. -Reliability: *New trencher attachment design has fewer parts. The durable steel spoils door offers excellent visibility. *Large-capacity hydraulic system for dependable performance in extreme work environments. *Rigid one-piece frame and solid backfill blade arms and cast blade pivot increase strength. -Operator Efficiency: *The four-post ROPS operator station offers cover from the weather. Optional work lights, cable handling systems and full-coverage cab are available. *Operator's seat swivels 90 degrees and has three-way adjustment. *Adjustable armrests and tilt steering wheel conform to the operator's natural posture. *Cruise control feature provides a hands-free way to set and maintain desired engine speed when trenching or sawing. -Maintenance: *Engine service points are all located on the left side. *Composite side panels on the sloping, steel hood are easily removed for full engine access. *The engine oil level can be checked with out opening the enclosure. *Hydraulic fluid and fuel fills are accessible from ground level. *Removable panels in the floor and dash of the operator's station provides "tool free" access to service components.
