1998 Brush Bandit 250 XP,This unit is ready to MAKE MONEY. Comes with 4 sets of blades (4 blades per set) 3 are sharp, one is on the chipperMajor overhaul was done during the last 100 hrs the unit was fitted with a new clutch, disc, main shaft and bearings, belts, feed wheel springs, and feed wheel bearings. Oil changed 15 hrs ago, Hydraulic fluid and filter changed 40 hrs ago. The unit was just painted (10/2/09) with Valspar Enamel Implement paint with hardner for longer life and had new decals applied. As you can see on the pictures the engine was not painted.The unit has around 2200 hours currently. The hour meter malfunctioned and it states that the unit has over 70,000 + hours. Anyone who knows about chippers will know you cant get 70,000 out of any chipper that I have ever heard about. You can see this is a good quality unit and not all ragged out. The turbo pressures are still at 65 kilopascals @ 2500 RPMs (This is the units operational speed)This unit is very strong, has a winch system attached above the feed wheels for larger logs. It will take up to 12 inch logs. Most of its use with us has been 6 inches or smaller as we cut up most of the larger wood for firewood. It has seen some big pieces of pine, hickory, maple, oak, and sweet gum; none of them were any match for this unit.
